I strongly recommend this restaurant. I hadn't been to an Indian restaurant in ages and really liked this place. It's attractive and calm.No obnoxious blaring music. The service is good. We went for a weekday lunch. The food is excellent and it's BYOB. I had goat curry , which I liked. We also had a vegetable korma and aloo paratha and the Tandoori mixed grill. All very good. The masala tea is excellent. Maybe I need to get out more and stop eating Indian frozen food! Still I'd recommend Deep and Sukhi's . Don't waste your time with Saffron Road, it's a low quality product!

This Palace of Asia on Flock Road is the successor to Palace of Asia on Quakerbridge Road, and it is also excellent. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, prompt and professional, and the decor is very attractive. We had an Indian feast for a holiday lunch - mixed tandoori grill, goat curry, vegetable korma, aloo paratha, rasmali, kulfi and chai tea. Every item was absolutely delicious. It is also BYOB. I have had celebration lunches here with many of my co-workers, including Diwali lunches. We have always been very happy.

One of our two local Indian places in heavy rotation, Palace of Asia consistently delivers quality meals. Service is always friendly and prompt, and while we dine in less often than at their old location, the take out is always wrapped and prepared as though it is meant to survive a trip through a war zone, so that's a nice bonus. We've made our way through most of the menu at this point, with our favorites being the malai kofta, chicken korma, chicken biryani & the aloo gobhi. While prices have increased quite a bit over the past few years (who's haven't?), we very much miss the lunch buffet and the ambiance isn't nearly what their old location was, Palace of Asia still delivers on the culinary front, and at the end of the day, that's what I care most about. Still 5 stars.

Excellent food. Good service. We'd eat there more often but my littlest one isn't a fan of Indian food. (Don't take this as anything other than my kid's issue.).

After outing at Grounds for Sculpture with friends, we came here for dinner based on my husband's recommendation. His office had the Diwali celebration there a couple years ago. We ordered Malai kofta, navragan Korma, tandoori chicken, lamb curry, garlic naans, and some vegetarian dishes. Everything was delicious. This is a new location that they moved there just a yr ago so it's nice and elegant. The service was friendly and accommodating for our special dietary request. We all enjoyed the dinner very much. You should try it too if you're in the area.

I had been mourning the loss of my fav Indian place for a few years. I tried a few local spots but none measured up. I'm not sure how the previous location of this business escaped me as I had great memories of its heyday in the Lawrence shopping center. But now that it's in my backyard I'll consider it my new Indian spot. My first visit was a few weeks ago. It's now located in a strip mall a few miles away just off Quakerbridge road. I ordered takeout biryani and enjoyed it very much. It was a bit spicier than what I'm used to( had I read all previous reviews I could have asked for them to reduce the heat) but the generous portion of raita that came with it cooled it down. This was the best and thickest raita I've ever had and made me realize that this could be my new place. The next trip I brought a date and we both liked it very much. We took advantage of their lunch special pricing and also ordered veggies samosas from the regular menu. The special came with an app too, pakora and these were tasty. But the sams were better, huge pillows with a flakey crust with a spicy veggie filling. My shrimp Vindaloo was very good, I left it at the normal spice level and that was perfect. 5 or 6 big shrimp swam happily in the sauce, once they were dispatched the included naan mopped up most of the sauce. My date loved her lamb korma and I tried the sauce, very good. This is a mild one but also mop worthy. The amount of naan was generous and plenty for her leftovers. She finished with a dessert, falooda, something I've not seen before and very interesting. Service was friendly if not entirely professional, and the space is casual but updated with 15 or so tables. I'll likely be working my way through the menu in the coming months.
